IR 4.0 event string editor

I am using th event string editor - designng application for IR wiht IR designer.
When I am trying to understand the data in the call data tables some things do not make sense - for example - I am using a script ( service) that calls another script and then returns. Each script has its own event string, but I can see variables from the first script appearing in the event table and related to cid of the second script(service).

Anyone has some experience with this?
